from 15 reviewsI love the sensor, really helps me ensure my plants are watered and the humidity is on point!

works with ZHA Home assistant

Works great with zigbeemqtt, I use the sensor to keep an “eye” on my plants in my skylight.

Works fine with zigbee2mqtt. Unfortunately has no power sensor, only temperature and moisture measurement

work great

This seems to work well so far. Paired with a Sonnoff Zigbee dongle and HA see it fine. Have this trigger a smart outlet with a pump in a drum and I'm all set.
I have a lot of pumps, if I get a Tuya smart power strip, I can have them all feed from the same 55 gall water drum into different beds with a sensor in each bed. It would look nicer and be easier than using 5 separate smart plugs.
2 things I noticed; 1) pack the soil in firm around the sensor 2) these didn't like my rechargeable Ni batteries; I imagine Li rechargeable might act the same so use regular alks if you have issues.

Handy device with small form factor. Integrates nicely into my monitoring and irrigation system. Buy the Zigbee version rather than the Bluetooth it maintains connection and is more straightforward to set up.

Great soil moisture sensor! Works great with zigbee2mqtt in home assistant!

Neat little Zigbee device! Gives moisture on a scale of 0-100٪, which is a little vague, and the ideal range may depend on plant, but I'm not really a gardener.
Works with ZHA in Home Assistant!

arrived in reasonable to time, and actually works. I've tried four different ZigBee plant sensors now, this is the only one that has functioned as advertised.

The Tuya hub is not needed when used with Hubitat Elevation. Have only had it a day so I can’t give an accurate assessment of the device. It uses the TL555C chip which is a good thing. Other soil testers use inferior (less costly) chips that do not report accurately.
